The INNOMARK alpha breath alcohol tester delivers reliable results with a measurement tolerance of ± 0.05‰ due to its electrochemical sensor. The device has a built-in flow sensor to determine the breathing volume, which measures the alcohol concentration in your breathing air and uses this to calculate the blood alcohol concentration.
The measurement results are displayed in 3 digits (with 2 decimal places for the measuring unit per mille) and for 5 seconds; they can be interpreted 1:1 (e.g. the display shows the value 0.36 = 0.36 per mille).
For hygienic reasons and to ensure an unadulterated test result, each test person should use a new mouthpiece for each test.
To maintain the measurement accuracy of this device, we recommend regular calibration (at least once per year). Calibration at the intervals recommended in the operating instructions also ensures the warranty for the sensor.
