Due to its precise electrochemical sensor, the CEST Alkomat II delivers police-accurate results with a tolerance of ± 0.05‰. A flow sensor for determining the breathing volume is also installed - and yet, thanks to its handy and compact format, it fits in any jacket pocket.

 

The CEST Alkomat II counts in this size and price range  one of the most powerful devices, which was also shown in various tests: the CEST II performed just as well in the magazine "Lexpress" as it did in the ARD technology guide (October 2009) - where the device was compared with a reference device from Dräger and only showed smallest deviations (1%), while the other devices tested differed by up to 19%. In November 2011, the CEST II was also awarded the grade “Very Good” by the Austrian Automobile Club ÖAMTC.



The handy breathalyzer stands out thanks to its subtle and modern design - we have consciously avoided anything superfluous. The combination of dark and light elements looks elegant without being intrusive, the display is large and has a backlight so that measurement results, readiness and flow as well as battery alarm and number of measurements can be read even in poor visibility conditions.

Thanks to its handy size and compact weight (only 100 grams including batteries), the CEST A II is the ideal companion at any party. The intuitive design allows even inexperienced users to carry out quick and precise measurements. It is operated solely via a button that is located in the middle of the device and can therefore be easily reached by right- and left-handed people - it couldn't be easier!


Application:
As soon as “blow” appears on the display, you can carry out the breath alcohol test. To do this, simply blow evenly and without interruptions into the mouthpiece, as if you were whistling. During the measurement you will hear a continuous beep and after 4 seconds a click: Only then is the test finished.

The breath alcohol is immediately evaluated and after a few seconds displayed in per mille (the standard unit in Austria, Germany and Switzerland).
