The new CEST stab protection underpants CEST Armor are woven from the highly cut-resistant Protex fiber.
This fiber has a certified cut resistance of 25.9 N.
Furthermore, a very stab-resistant material was used, which is currently still being certified in Europe; according to According to EN 863, the puncture force [N] is determined and certified.
The stab resistance is ensured by a thin trauma film (CEST Armor) that has been processed over a large area. Only on the side (outside) is an approximately 1 cm wide area that serves as an expansion joint.
Conventional textile stab protection materials have too high a dream value (penetration) due to their "soft" property.
Bone splinters, broken bones or tearing off internal organs can be the result of attacks with knives.
The CEST Armor material has above-average trauma values for “textile” conditions.
The material is not Suitable for washing machines. Hand wash; or brush off, wash off with a damp cloth and disinfect.
The CEST Armor stab protection is guaranteed by a hybrid structure (multi-layer system) of several layers of different, very firm, but soft materials.
We subjected the CEST Armor film to an extensive bite test with a service dog (Belgian Shepherd). The material sample, which was attached to a bite pad (see photo), was not pierced.
Furthermore, there is the option of using panels (20x25cm) -> ballistic inserts SK1 / KR1 to upgrade the CEST Armor so that the thigh area is also protected from ballistic attacks. One of the panels is removable.
